Where hope takes root and families begin to bloom.

We are building a Christ-centered vision to bring healing and restoration to the whole family — beginning with mothers and their children in Maputo, Mozambique.

Consider the wildflowers.

Our first chapter begins in Mozambique.

We are exploring the development of our first Where the Wildflowers Grow home in Maputo, in collaboration with local Christian leadership — a place where mothers and children can begin again, as the first step toward restoring whole families.

How this vision began

Seven years ago, the Lord gave me a dream. In that dream were four words: Where the Wildflowers Grow.

At the time, I didn't fully understand what those words meant or what the Lord intended to do with them. But something about them settled deeply within my heart. I knew they were precious. I knew they carried purpose. And although I couldn't yet see what they would become, I held them close, trusting that in His perfect timing, the Lord would reveal what He had planted.

Years passed, and what had once been a quiet seed began to stir again.

In the beginning of 2025, the Lord began breathing fresh life into that dream, awakening something within me that I could no longer ignore. What began as a longing to see individual lives healed and restored grew into a much greater vision. I began to see the Father's heart for transformation, not simply in the life of one person, but in entire families. Families made whole, becoming places of love, safety, belonging, and hope. And from those restored families, transformation overflowing into communities, reaching across regions, and ultimately touching nations.

Because when the love of the Father transforms a life, its impact was never meant to end with that one life.

We believe that healing has a beautiful way of multiplying. That restoration can become an inheritance. That what God begins in one heart can ripple through generations and change the landscape of entire communities.

This is the heart behind Where the Wildflowers Grow.

We exist to partner with what the Father is doing in the earth, creating opportunities for individuals and families to encounter His love through discipleship, education, practical care, and intentional relationships. Our desire is not simply to meet immediate needs, but to cultivate environments where lasting transformation can take root and flourish.

As this vision continues to unfold, our hearts are being drawn toward Mozambique, where we are prayerfully exploring the beginnings of our first home, with a vision that extends far beyond one location or nation.

And perhaps one of the most beautiful things about wildflowers is that they often bloom in the most unexpected places. In ground that appears barren, forgotten, or incapable of producing anything beautiful, life can still emerge.

We believe the same is true of people, families, and nations. No life is beyond the reach of the Father's love. No story is too broken for His redemption. And no place is too barren for something beautiful to grow.

What began as a dream is becoming an invitation. An invitation to walk together, to love deeply, to sow faithfully, and to witness the beauty of lives transformed by the heart of the Father.

This is Where the Wildflowers Grow.

Meet Danyelle — Founder

Danyelle Keturi, Founder & President of Where the Wildflowers Grow

I'm Danyelle Keturi, a wife, mother of four, and above all else, a daughter who has been profoundly transformed by the love of the Father.

My journey has taught me that no life is beyond His reach and no story is too broken for His redemption. I've known seasons when hope seemed distant, but I've also encountered the extraordinary tenderness of a Father who sees, who pursues, and who rescues. His love has changed everything, and from that place, a deep longing was born to see others encounter that same transforming love.

As the founder of Where the Wildflowers Grow, my heart is to see restoration take root in individuals, overflow into families, and ultimately transform communities and nations. I believe that what the Father restores in one generation can become an inheritance of hope for the next.

My greatest desire is not that people would see what we are building, but that through it, they would encounter the heart of the One who makes all things new.

Our Faith Foundation

Where the Wildflowers Grow is explicitly a Christian organization. Prayer, discipleship, and collaboration with local churches are central to how we hope to walk alongside families, beginning with women and children — with dignity, respect, and compassion at every step.

Transparency

Where the Wildflowers Grow is recognized as a nonprofit organization in the State of Illinois and is currently pursuing federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. We are committed to sharing updates on our governance and progress as the organization develops.

Where the Wildflowers Grow is a developing nonprofit organization with a vision to bring healing and restoration to the family as a whole. In our first phase, we place a special focus on women and their children, creating safe, restorative communities where they can begin again. Through local partnerships, discipleship, education, and practical support, we believe entire families can be restored and build stronger foundations for generations to come.

"Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin... shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?"
Matthew 6:28–30
